They said at the AGM that in 12/13 YTD that 16 out of 18 countries are profitable so I concur it makes little sense about the UK operations .

The only thing I can think of is England ,Scotland , Ireland and Wales are 4 countries and all in their own right profitable , and the head count reduction they refer to is accross all of the UK in particular the Head Office .
