I wonder if they will push ahead with the NMG project in the face of falling POG? Maybe they can exercise their rights under the loan agreement and simply take it over. Then just mothball it until things improve.

RSG could be back to the 60 cent range at some stage.

Given that Syama is a relatively lower cost mine they can just keep it going and put the OZ mine on care and maintenance to save capital expenditure. There is large expenditure due in Syama to further lower costs and this is what they should focus on.

The dividend they paid last year was a waste of money, although it excited a lot of people - as was the share buyback program.

I expect RSG will survive.
