Yes the poor banks, you're kidding me right? The big 4 are at all time highs and recording huge profits which is due to an increase in their profit margin on loans, which is called their “net interest margin”. This was brought about by the RBA's tightening of monetary policy which led to the interest rate rises. This in turn leads to more people keeping money in the bank to service their mortgages, and if they are keeping it in the banks, people are not spending it in the economy. So everything contracts, but the banks win big time.
You are also wrong about me not holding stock, because while i have changed to Marketech to trade, I still do own SWF shares as i, like many shareholders here, are underwater and am hoping for a miracle to be able to mitigate my losses. So i am hoping for your big bounce announcement, because i will be out of here the first chance i get, as will a lot of other punters because this company is rudderless.
