They don’t want to have to look after people in old age, and are seeing them come into the market and flitter away all their savings on poor investments, when it’s clear that most people using these low quality low cost online brokers don’t have even the most basic of analytical investment abilities, and get emotionally attached, often holding alllll the waaaaaay down, for fear that to sell would be to admit they weren’t as smart or as lucky as they thought they were

you shouldn’t get angry at different opinions, they should help you analyse your decision making processes, because I’m sure I don’t have to remind you - but this was a very poor investment and there is very little that anyone can currently see that would indicate that it will improve in any meaningful way - apart from “Datt is good” and hope.
