NPAT is $850-880 million for the half year (refer to ANN today). Even if you assume earnings will be slashed in the second six months, to say $400 million, that gives you an annual NPAT of $1,250-1,280 million. Compare this to last year when their NPAT was $1,050 million.
WOW! Based on that I would feel that many companies would be envying WES at this stage.
If only it weren't for its debt position...
