Just get the required number of members shares and call a general meeting. Put the questions to them and if the answer is unsatisfactory remove the directors.
They don't own the company, the shareholders do. So if you're unhappy with the performance, that's the legal avenue the owners can take.
Sometimes when a rift develops between shareholders and management, it's unfortunately the only recourse.
