"Don'y put your hand out to catch a FALLING KNIFE'?
Particularly, in a market like the present one, no one will buy without positive news.
No news = no buying (other than a few diehards).
No buying = a price fall/collapse as the buy/sell (demand/supply) equation is way out of whack.
Irrespective of the underlying merits of the business.
