I think you'll find it highly unlikely Progen will be offering bigger buy back - the rationale behind the merger for AVX was to get access to their cash.
I think that is part of the reason why you are seeing such a big sell off... all the people who bought in around 60c hoping for $1.10 to be returned to all shareholders.
