My understanding is that they are in possesion of previously shot seismic, they may well intend to shoot new seismic in order to refine the targets, but as i said before they wont commit to the expenditure until the renewal is in.
It may be that they have 2d seismic and may opt to shoot 3d, whatever the case i am 100% sure that they already have a raft of likely targets that do include shallow oil
