This is hopefully a good discussion of the pros and cons of the most popular/effective programming languages for algorithmic trading.
I am fairly new to quantitative algorithmic analysis/trading - Shooting this as a gauge to the current algorithm languages used and maybe even some hot tips on resources that cover algorithmic trading the best.
