Approvals will be fast-tracked. MRA has been tasked to ensure project development is approved asap. With Ok Tedi coming to an end, the PNG government has stated over the course last 24 months that development of Frieda and other near project will be fast tracked, including landholder negotiations. The delays will largely not be related to regulatory and/or landholder approvals.
