    It will be slow going. The rock around CT is granite. You would think that total depth will reached around December, or so.

    However, along the way they should be intersecting deeper extensions of the quartz veins of mineralization. I will be interested to know how many/where/how wide those are. They might let us know that.

    As I've said before, however, it is extremely wet and hot down there. Unless it is a truly exceptional motherlode, I'd treat this as an interesting geological exercise, which is probably a reason the Qld Govt is funding it. [Hmmm...maybe they get geothermal power out of it?]

    In the meantime, I'm focused on the real potential of the existing proven ore bodies. The one below is exceptional, but there aren't many mines anywhere in the world which have anything like this (from the No2 Citigold Crossvein Central decline).
