I just checked that Enerji Ltd, ASX code: ERJ (a listed company) has five 100 per cent owned subsidiary companies.

Potential liability to Opcon AB is with Enerji Holdings Pty Ltd (formerly Jamalcom Pty Ltd). The potential liability to Opcon in Enerji Holdings Pty Ltd is being resolved through voluntary administration. The resolution for this potential liability will be delivered in second creditors' meeting on Tue, 25 October 2016.

All accounts payable (supplier-accounts payable-other) in the consolidation balance sheet may be legally committed by the subsidiary companies since Enerji Ltd, ASX code: ERJ (a listed company) could be only a parent (holding) company where all operating activities are conducted through the subsidiary companies. Was "the letter of demand" issued by a creditor of one of the subsidiary companies? If yes, the legal status of liability is in the subsidiary company. Can someone please check it? Thank you
