I din't think they will announce the engagement of the first drill contract. They have given the timeline and although they have a strong history of missing them I think you are miss reading the announcement.
It is clearly meant to be read in two parts - first para spudding operation and second para long term deep drill operation.
Get your lawyer to read and advise.
Time will tell but I'm right and I don't want to discuss it anymore.
