Think we had that fluid-loss issue at P1 around 3600m mark, so they'd just want to navigate thro' this section carefully. KR1 is a deeper well compared to P1 & P2 & we are still a long way off from the 6" section (or the business end).
Next up we have the 12.25" section to drill, after installation/pressure testing of the BOP & then the 8.5" section + 7" CSG (pressure testing).
Here's a quick comparison:
P1: 17.5"-2288m, set 13" CSG, drill 12.25" till 3898m
P2: 17.5"-2422m, set 13" CSG, drill 12.25" till 4098m
KR1: 17.5"-2663m, set 13" CSG, wait on cement, pressure test BOP's, Drill 12.25" thereafter.
Hope they can provide an update on Brazil soon.
