LNGN as opposed to NLNG - seems dyslexic to most, other than ESG

Offering an equity interest in the narrabri coal seam gas project ---- ??

We have not read the JV terms and conditions but it surely must have a pre-emption clause where if one of the partners wants to sell the whole or part of their JV share the other partner gets first go at it

Maybe ESG is trying to provoke the Santos to increase its JV stake and give ESG some money --- A good way to find out if STO is willing to have a go. If STO doesnt take up its pre-emptive rights then it would be a signal that it is happy with ESG to get new partners and continue along the Newcastle path. After all even with GLNG STO is selling down and 35% in NCSG may be about right for them.


Or maybe the JV agreement doesnt have any pre-emptive rights for the other parties

A good feint by ESG - the mark of Zorro upon Santos. We will wait to see if any concrete offer to this Marubeni eventuates.

Like YouAll in the ESG Room want, ESG may get its way and remain a standalone entity, without takeover premium, for as long as it desires with STO as a friendly strategic 20% shareholder partner. STO likes LNG and ESG likes LNG so all is well.

This is the announcement which just makes you want to go and revoke your AGM voting form and give that DC and that other director all the rewards they need for a richer life, and no doubt this has been brewing for some time but is only now ready for drinking close to an AGM date. And it is so succinct just one page to tease us with its many possibilities.

Bravo to the management and let us have some more of those announcements that have now reached maximum reward generation potential.
