But just to put things in perspective - as far as I'm aware uranium only 15% of what we intend to mine, with rare earths being the primary target ?

Also if we're discussing future uranium prices then would it not be prudent to discuss then in the context of the actual grade of uranium we have got and its uses in industry in the future. Other posters are more knowledgeable than me here but I suppose the crux of what I am getting at is whether or not nuclear power plants are our only customer ? Do the grades of uranium allow us any other options; is there a possibility of demand coming from a new industry ?

85% of our mining is going to be for rare earth metals. It would be good to hear others opinions on future prices of those too. Personally I feel that when you consider that these are vital components in things like smartphones, LED & LCD TV's, hybrid car batteries, wind turbines, etc, etc then we can have no doubt that demand is likely to expand over the next decade. But what about other rare earth operations opening up? Rare earths are no-where near as rare as their name suggests. So although it is likely demand will expand it is important to identify where we are on the curve of satisfying that demand vis a vis other operations.

Finally I'll say that we often hear the quote that Kvanejfeld is "the world's second largest deposit of rare earth metals. That in itself is well and good but we must also ask where numbers 3,4,5,6-10 are and at what stage are they of beginning a mining operation that will compete.
