Hi Stevo Schist is a metaphoric rock made up of composite minerals...Schist is medium grade hardness...The grandular stage when the rock becomes gniess is when the it takes up a harder disposition...
As announcements say the high grade zones are dominated by Graphitic Schist it is not saying the high grade zones are dominated by Graphitic gniess....
Schist is characteristically foliated meaning that the individual mineral grains split off into flakes or slabs....
