    Hibbahellfire,

    The biggest problem with this technology is that the drillholes casing and stability can never be guaranteed in the UCG process. At depths of 300+m and temperatures required for H2 production the drillhole and casing can simply not maintain its integrity given the tremendous forces acting upon it.
    To date, I am not aware of any UCG "technology" that is proven in ensuring drillhole stability as the underground cavity is formed. Further, as heat and gas radiates in all directions not all the H2 gas moves towards the production pipe. This is especially troublesome in coal seams where CSG is being carried out.
    As a result, the environmental risk and the continuity of Syngas production become major obstacles to the profitability of this technology.(Perhaps why it is yet to be commercially sustainable after approx. 100 years since inception).

    Does the 108 page report prepared by Zeus address the abovementioned issues?
