With all the fuss going on about carbon credits and coal fired power stations, and how the owners are not keeping up maintenance on the power stations, we are headed for very costly power on the east coast of Australia in the very near future, especially when you consider that the electric car is coming and in a big way,and in Victoria we are building a desalination plant, where does Mr Brumby think the power for that will come from? if the Silex technology works as well as some are saying, then there will be a mass exodus from mains power or at least relying totally on it, it will not be cost effective compared to future solar in my opinion.
