uberplodder, you need to do some serious research on Silex solar, they are working towards a far more efficient panel, one that per watt produced will be the cheapest available, Silex have some very smart people working for them, they achieved the Uranium Enrichment process (at least on a small scale) which we will soon know if the test loop proves whether it can be scaled up to full production? the US had spent over a Billion Dollars on a similar tech only to fail as did France and Japan from memory, they all spent a fortune on ALVIS, I think that's what it was called? but the Aussies did it on a shoestring budget and came up with the answer, it must be good because it is the only private companies technology that is marked TOP SECRET by the US!
