Do those same rules apply to cyclical companies whos income is based on a highly volatile commodity prices? I would rather get paid out massive dividends and get my whole investment back in 18 months and then I can decide if I want to buy more shares at current SP.. same same as buyback, but different. High yield also pushes up SP..
