Personally, I don't believe that YKE ever intended to buy out YAL.
The offer was just a way to support the market price and provide liquidity for Glencore who wanted out.
But if they did they would try and get it as cheaply as possible.
Whether YAL is overvalued or undervalued depends on where coal prices go from here.
