but I must admit to being more than a little surprised to see this patent granted, particularly after reading the abstract -- what I have been missing, but I thought we had these types of patents stitched-up years ago?!?!

and if I have been missing something on the patents front, is this then a critical patent grant that customers and potential partners having been waiting to see before commiting?... which would certainly be news to more than a few, I suspect...
