Ding charges a processing fee of about $1.40 plus an exchange rate margin of 1.5% Aus to USD. So on a $10 transfer = +15% cost on top. If Airpocket offers same deal but gets 11% commission instead of charging customer +15% which is enough to cover costs and make a profit then we are cheaper. If we also offer a bonus time, say 5% 'Airpocket bonus' = $0.50 extra call time on top of Movistar offers. We are better. Is that compelling enough? I don't know, i don't send $ to ElSalvador...but if it is, then you can add remittance offers as well....then you could get a good product mix. Depends on how price elastic demand is i suppose?
