Kooks- Ive lost the( ancient) reference but may try to find it. In the early days one or more CC wells flowed (at least initially)at 20mmcfpd ,or close to it. Ive wondered for a while about whether the oft repeated "7mmcfpd" or "over 7mcfpd" of recent times wasnt a wee bit trite ,the truth perhaps being that one or more of the recent wells flowed at perhaps way above that and,within the overall (sale) plan, it was decided not to get the troops too exited yet by fudging with a 7 figure. "over 7" could be just about any figure you like to make it. Why did some wells flow at 20 back in the fifties and now,after being closed in for 40 or 50 years they can only flow at 7,or thereabouts?
