Thanks Meteor. I understand the validation which if applied to predominantly diabetic and obese patients should reveal a high risk. The validation would be better if applied to a sample group not generally indicated as being at high risk (healthy looking people) who show signs of high risk and subsequently go onto develop CKD. It just seems like a test that confirms high risk if you're already in a high risk category. I'll leave it that. Thanks for all your feedback folks.
