About 40 years ago I was working at Cooma High School when RH and his wife turned up at the early morning assembly to address and entertain the students. It was a freezing cold, windy and damp day, however, he held us all enthralled for nearly an hour - at no charge to the school, just because he loved being an entertainer.
Saw him at Twin Towns Services Club several years later and was somewhat impressed with his artistic ability and just his general enjoyment of being on stage and entertaining the masses.
Would be a great shame if all his fans were disallusioned, not to mention those who may be victims and their suffering.
