    The Bankable Feasibility Study into the Prominent Hill Project is now well advanced with target completion in June this year.

    Drill out of the Resource to bring it up to Measured category is almost complete together with drilling for Metallurgical and Geotechnical.

    As far as approvals is concerned we are reviewing the final draft of the Mining and Rehabilitation Plan required to support our Mining Lease Application with the Department of Primary Industry and Resources of South Australia and expect to formally submit this later in March. This is in line with a program that will see PIRSA sign off on the Mining Lease in June.

    To support these activities there are several new members of the team;

    Mick Wilkes has moved down from Sepon to take on the role of General Manager of our business here in South Australia including the development of Prominent Hill. Mick is known to most people in Oxiana for the instrumental role that he played in the development of the Sepon operation and I could not think of anyone better qualified to lead the Prominent Hill Team

    Graeme King has joined us as Manager Mining. Graeme has extensive experience in large scale open pit mining with both Rio and BHP Billiton and brings valuable skills and experience to the team.

    Brian Lewis has joined us to look after budgeting and cost control for the project and Emma Barber has taken on responsibility for Document control.

    In addition we have moved into new office in Adelaide that is more suited to our ongoing project and business needs. This office was formerly the office of the WMC project team working on the Olympic Dam expansion and has a state of the art fit out.

    As you can see we are right on track to develop what is the best undeveloped copper project in the world!
