The appointment of Aboriginal Ben Wyatt to the Indigenous Ministry
signals that Morrison is seriously considering putting Reconciliation and
recognition in the Constitution as a priority including having an indigenous body
set up with indigenous members to advise parliament!
The fact that right wing pundits on Sky are screaming against such moves
indicates Morrison is willing to stare them down and not let them get in the way.
If he follows through with this he will likely get bi-partisan support from Albo
and positive outcomes could be achieved. Turnbull resisted having a seperate
indigenous body but Morrison may deliver it.
