When you mentioned disparaging, I was expecting something a little more critical, but I guess it was just drawing attention to some of the timeline delays with two the major (future) vanadium miners..

I don't follow too many other companies at this stage of progress toward a mine, but I am sure tmost have had similar delays due to forces most companies have faced the last few years, covid, economic slowdown, China on the backburner, etc etc.

Although we still aren't seeing any positive market change, most countries around the world are planning economic stimulus through large investment in green energy,
over the next few years, and we all hope that will finally impact vanadium demand/price at some stage.

Re: specific topic of the article in that AVL renewed it's land agreement for the processing plant, I think that is just par for the course. They need to keep the option in place, as enviro permitting has been submitted for that site, so you can't just hope it's up for sale when the time comes you need to start work there.
I do wonder a little bit, given they could have found the funds over the last few years to purchase the land outright, maybe the door is being left open just a crack to abandon the purchase, if the site (and distance to truck ore there) ends up not being favourable. I assume Vince put the initial plan in place, and no word has been suggested from the new MD that this could change, but having the option, for what is comparatively a pretty small 'option' fee, it makes sense.

Overall an honest article... These website articles are usually just fluff advertising pieces that pull a few positive points from the most recent announcement and mention little else, indicating (probably because it's true), the writers do zero research past skimming an announcment for the highlights.
