As reported by the Market Herald:
“The Minister highlighted graphite and vanadium as specific interests of the WA State Government.”

This was at last Tuesday’s morning speech by Bill (The WA Minister for Petroleum and Mines) on day two of the Future of Mining and MiningNews Select conferences held this week.
Maybe Bill will have something nice to say when the first AVL vanadium electrolyte gets produced?
A couple of months back (31/07/23) he waxed lyrical on the Horizon Power refox flow trial which is to be managed by AVL.
Hopefully it will be very successful!
cheers

"This is another example of Horizon Power leading the way when it comes to utilising cutting-edge, clean energy technology."Vanadium redox flow batteries are specifically designed to deliver energy over a long period of time, which is crucial for achieving the high levels of decarbonisation we are after."If the pilot is successful, there is potential to expand the use of long-duration, 100 per cent renewable energy across Horizon Power's 2.3 million square-kilometre network."
