Then it should prevail well for CXY if they have comparisons with background measurements prior to the plant installation.
These compunds may have already pre-existed in similar amounts - case closed. CXY would need to prove this and contamination issues might go away.
The cotton fields in Emerald underwent a similar fate, but theirs was an owner/user issue (an occupational hazard for the cotton growers). CXY (and others) are up against a foreign industry - even though the Tarong P.S has undergone expansion and spews CO2/NOX/SOX into the atmosphere.
Careful consultation might provide for acceptance of the colocation issue for a happy outcome. Removing the hysteria, the farmers would be looking at their livelihoods being compromised, which CXY needs to be absolved of.
