I am not sure I agree - Is GEM dependent on new Chinese students? Any impact on GEM must come from onshore activities right?

The ASX 200 education group’s shares are down to $1.60 and trading at a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 11.7 times. I think that could be investors weighing up the impact of the coronavirus on the group’s FY20 earnings.Education is one of Australia’s largest exports, and one of the most under pressure from the virus. China is the epicentre of COVID-19 and also the largest market for Australian education which could mean lower earnings for groups like G8 Education.
