    'Patient and Physician public relations campaign of SSH generated a great deal of awareness at six pilot centres.
    Companies website yielded 13 million hits between Feb and April'

    The promotion campaign could have only begun in April. I mention this on the basis that I suggested this type of promotion to Dave Rosa on March 4th.
    On April 10 he had a phone hook up with the PR co and as I understand it decided about then to go ahead with the promotion in areas where hospitals were ready to go and not wait until all 35 sites were ready. I mentioned that in an earlier post and suggested it was a good decision in my opinion, and still do.
    So it would be reasonable to assume that of the unexpectedly large number of 13 ml hits a good proportion
    of those would have been generated by the April promotion.

    If only one per cent of those 13 million respondents were from class 111 heart patients enquiries, and those from only six centres, it would be reasonable to suggest this promotion is likely going to be the answer to the, up to now, recruitment dilemma.

    This is hardly a miserable result as one poster suggested.

    I think we are on our way.
