Yes I am sure of the structure of the solar deal, the accounting less so
The customer buys the solar installation from LPE, then pays it off over the contract term, hence no upfront costs. KWhrs sold from the solar generation cover the repayments and other costs, after which the customer still enjoys a price advantage on the solar units consumed.
