    I agree with everything in your excelkent post.

    But there is one issue in Australia where we all seem to have an attitude problem.
    And that is we are not willing to pay for our health.
    I’m by any measure financially extremely well off , so maybe I
    don’t see things from the right perspective.

    But I fail to understand why someone in urgent need of,
    in this case dental treatment, doesn’t just pay for and get it done immediately.
    For example
    if their TV broke down, they would either get it repaired or
    buy a new one straight away.
    While there are of course some exceptions,
    most people are so that poor they have zero funds.
    Maybe they need to spend some of the money they’d set aside for a holiday, or a new
    mobile phone ....( yes and everyone has a mobile phone)
    What’s more important.
    People are willing to pay for treats and luxuries,
    but somehow dont see why they should pay for their health.
