I don't really watch the Nasdaq, my interest is more with the Dow.
If you look to past periods of long term consolidation the Dow does not sit around.
It falls sharply and it rises sharply.
I do not expect the present situation to be any different.
NASDAQ on the other hand probably will behave very similar to the Dow during the 1940's.
