Motions to remove recently appointed MD Alexandre **ovich and directors Ronnen Rosengart and Samuel Belzberg from the board of Molopo were rejected by shareholders at yesterday's annual general meeting.
Major shareholder Keybridge Capital and its related entity Aurora Funds Management were trying to install Anthony Hartnell, David Sanders, William Johnson and Ben Norman as the board, but they were blocked, with around 60% of shares being voted 'no' on a poll, although some 92% of shares stood against Norman.
Almost 99% of shareholders rejected moves to dump Belzberg and some 95% backed Rosengart.
Wayne Trumble was also re-elected at yesterday's annual general meeting.
