IMO there shouldn't be '1st home buyers grant' or anything of the sort from the feds or state governments.
A wealth redistribution scheme and ripoff for those that have saved and bought houses already.
If you want to help people buy houses, reduce stamp duty and income tax rates at the lower income levels.
