    Well! I could have saved a lot of repetition if I'd gone back and looked at some posts from a few days ago and seen all this.

    And I thought I was so smart coming up with the idea of comparing P/E ratios of houses with stocks. It seems we have a consensus estimate anyway. Regardless of whether you believe that a PE of 38 is a good investment is up to each individual. I personally can't see how anyone can feel secure owning an investment yielding this type of return. Also why is it that people don't think that basic rules of diversification apply to property anyway.

    Ajax, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who haaaaates those equity ads. gee i can see those ads being replayed in documentaries in 10 years time.

    Sometimes being a doomsayer can be so lonely.
