    Like i said mr jones you may be an exception.
    I was merely raisng the point that people in their fifties heading for retirement are caught up in the frenzy of securing investments whether they be in securities or property. My point is this no one is insulated from the current market situation and people are in these investments not by being prudent but by following advice from so called experts.
    Sure our younger generation will suffer from this downturn but like i stated we do have that valuble commodity of time to recover from any negative market property or securities.
    My parents for instance were told by their advisor to ignore the market it will send you insane to watch it everyday. He tells them they're in the market long term and the market will eventually sort itself out, WHEN?
    I think the advisor is more concerned about losing his trail commission rather than acting out of interest for my parents or he has no idea, I think the latter.
