In the early 1980,s I bought a 2 B/R unit in Marrickville Sydney for $41,000 at the top of the then boom.
I kept it for 12 months and then put it on the market @ $45,000.
It took me 12 months to sell it, no buyers around , I eventually sold it for $39,950.
When the boom turns to bust, then the buyers will disappear.
