Have just come home from looking at a block of new apts. Only 6 in the block, 3 sold, the rest ready for fit-out. A 1st floor ap with 256sq mt internal,14 of balcony and 2 basement car parks with lift service going for $310k bare. (What are two car parks worth in Syd central?)Another $100 to $150k for fit-out and you still have enough change from half a mill for a new car. It's a beautiful old building, heratige listed, ex state govt offices, stone with 15ft cealings, on the main street at the end of the mall. Possibly built in the 20's. Even the ground floor balconys are over 2 mts above the street. Now if you don't believe the doom & gloom, a wonderful home or investment.
