Not quite sure of the point of this thread. Spain is about to experience a substantial population decline, as is most of Europe, so a price decline makes sense. The effect on Australian property is another matter, but if I were an ex-national watching property values in my homeland decline greatly relative to Australian values, that might make a move down the track attractive. It will also factor in potential migrants deciding where to migrate to. Australia also has the challenge of maintaining infrastructure and population growth at an exponential level to maintain high property values. This is impossible in the long run, and the cracks are very visible now.
