Excellent debate!

One thing for sure, when a debate like this happens with so many different points of view, something eventually gives way. It happened with the tech stocks, equities and gold, and now property.

Everyone should know my point of view by now, property is going knowhere for a while. You may not see nominal losses in the short term but the real losses will be there. Longer term may see nominal losses becoming more prevalent.

Just remember commitment levels everyone, they are much higher now than they were in the late eighties (and interest rates were sky high back then).

I keep hearing the same cr@p everyday, you can't lose on property, it never goes down.....yawn! This comes from ignorant people that have made healthy gains in the last few years and are on cloud nine thinking that nothing can go wrong. Well think again...things will go wrong, I can guarantee you that.

Get off your high horse and wake up to the future, not the past.
