Just like to know if anyone has bought a comercial property within a SMSF?
I am looking at buying a free hold business and would like to use my super to by the free hold, and borrow outside of super to purchase the business. Basically split up the costs of purchase.
I would have to borrow about 20% of the cost of the free hold so should meet the bank needs for equity etc.
Basically is it reasonably easy to do? and are there many pit falls?
