re: property investment advice link Fact of the matter is, bubbles burst, and renew, and burst and renew...as long as the RENEW is bigger than the burst, you come out in front. Real estate is in that category, tech stocks are not. Real estate has factors for recoveries, tech stocks have nothing supporting them. Real estate does not fall as much as shares in corrections, unless the scenario is similar to Japan, but that was based around bad CORPORATE debts not bad PERSONAL lending, so will not be replicated here.
As for my opinion, there is NO property bubble, interest rates are low, property investment was coming of a low base (compared to eqiuties which had run rampant), invstor sentiment continues to be towards property (look at the statistics on personal lending, increasingly property investment based), etc etc. Property may plateau for a while, or even reduce by 10-15%, but this is not a bubble bursting. The NASDAQ collapsing by70% is the definition of a bubble bursting.
