You don't get do you GrahamMac ,I guess you are probably a second or third generation public servant cushioned in the cocoon of Canberra .Prices are high in the ACT BECAUSE it has the highest per capita income in Australia ,public servants in highly paid secure jobs .The LIBS/NATS don't have a history of sacking public servants as you suggest only the Labor appointees at the top who are incompentent and got their jobs not for their expertise but for their loyalty to the Labob party.
