Perhaps a good indicator of investor confidence is whereby AFG investors are taking out mortgages of < 2000 in any one month.

For the period Jun 08 -> Feb 09, there was less than 2000 investors in any one month on seven out of nine occasions.

This was particularly during the period where we saw house prices fall.

Lets watch if the sub 2000 investors per month continues into 2010.
